Recently my colors have sort of "faded"- it shows orange, blue, grey--ITS NOT NORMAL! this has happened before and it was just a loose wire but it seems everything is in place correctly. what else could it possibly be?? thanks!

Anything from video card to monitor can it be, I have one card that gives out a combination of pink when it suppose to be grey. Was the entire machine zapped recently in a thunderstorm?

You might want to try updating your video card driver, either nvidia.com or ati.com.
If that doesn't work, your monitor might be getting old.

May be the problem in the slots or in the cabel pins. check it once
