You are mistaken -- TWO men signed the Declaration on July 4:

John Hancock, as President of the Congress
Charles Thompson as its Secretary

Let's see now. That would be the Declaration of Independence, right? And you want "sources," right?

Well, several people have been polite enough to answer you, at least one correctly, and with sources as you requested.

But however many points you get for selecting a "best answer," you should have them all deducted for your spelling and punctuation.

Five egregious errors in thirty-five words!

You'd never get my John Hancock!

Jefferson ?

I'm going to feel really stupid if he didn't even sign but I want to guess instead of cheat and look up the answer.
