I know that's a bit of a hackneyed phrase now, but you know what I mean. I still think it's Michael Caine, from all those years ago.

Robbie1999 - I am aware that it's a silly phrase (didn't I say so?) so please don't use this as a platform for a political rant.

I don't like to think of myself as a 'hackneyed phrase'. I'm sure you wouldn't speak that way after a quick whizz round in the old Triumph Stag and a shag in the woods.
You may even get a Valentines Day Card too, dear!

Tony Blair, because he embodies everything that hollow, meaningless phrase stands for. "Cool Britannia," was the buzz catchphrase of ten years ago when Blair took office. Ten years on, we've had Iraq, Afghanistan and Blair licking up to George W Bush, there's nothing cool about that.

Well, if I'm not allowed to choose myself then it has to be the golliwog who used to be on the marmalade jars. It was nice to be reminded of one's Empire each morning at breakfast.
