Because we are an elitist society and nobody will vote for a guy in Nebraska earning $50K per year taking care of his family and being a responsible citizen.

No he is not the best, but the system is rigged so that a common man with common sense can't be elected. First there is the money our current system takes alot of money and corporate money is involved, by the way its this way for dems and repubs who have both had the big money behind them. Also ballot access is not equal for all comers, the dems and repubs are in and all others must fight uphill battle to get on ballot which in some states is very difficult, then there is the media which in the USA is controlled by 7 corporations and they want their interest protected, so as they say you are left with the lesser of 2 evils. The system needs reform its not what the founding fathers intended, are you ready to change it.

NEWS FLASH THEY DON'T. Our Presidents are chosen. Example, ever notice the only two candidates last year who would be President were from Skull and Bones? Did you know that 1/3 of all our Presidents were Freemasons? understand now.
Kennedy rigged the election back when he got elected. He rigged up Chicago.
Bush rigged things up in Florida. Ever notice that the biggest problem during that election just happened to be the same state that Bush's Brother was Governor in? I'm sure it was a coincidence though.
The last election Had those electronic voting machines. When they tested those machines guess what they found out? Votes were being flipped over from John Kerry to George Bush. The maker of those machines has strong connections to the Republican party http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3695211834018080649
Big Business and powerful groups put who they want in the White House, not us.

get real .the people did not chose Bush,
34 presidents of the USA are all related to the same two families ,Charles the great and Charlemagne .
all are the same genetic clan .
as are other leaders of other former colonies.
do you honestly think that this is a coincidence
do you really believe that these guys have been voted by the public ,how naive can you get ,the elections are shows for the sake of the public ,and all of these leaders are placed by the Round table, the club of Rome and the Bilderberg group.
it is a well known fact that after countries are given their independence the royalties leave their genes behind to govern anonymously in their place, this has been done in Africa,India,Australia,NewZealand ,America and god knows where else.
this is well documented common knowledge by now
it is scary that there are still so many people like you around,do you also believe in father Xmas

No, Bush isn't the best we could do - but people let themselves be lied to by him and his cronies and believed all the hogwash they were putting out. After all, he was hiding behind the spectre of 9/11 constantly as well as the Bible and people didn't see him for the incompetent, warmongering, lying, thieving, ****** he is. You would have thought after 2000, they would have, but people are easily deluded by false promises and lies. Now, we're all paying the price because of the wrong decision made by those who voted for him - fortunately, I wasn't one of those.

Bush may be bad, but still better than John "the traitor" Kerry who together with his Open Society buddy George Soros wants to change the USA from a republic to a communist dictatorship by the UN.

I think it's because of the two-party system. We have to open the system up to capable third party candidates and give them a chance. Who knows, they might pull it off. Don't vote Rep this November!!
