If only the head is taken off, you will need to defeather it, which you do by placing the bird in a boiling water bath for a few seconds, so that the feathers will come off more easily. Remove feathers then carefully cut out the guts, or gibbets of the chicken, you do not want to cut into the gullet, as it will contaminate the meat, it should come out in one peice. Wash the chicken well. You can now bake, cut up into pieces and fry, fry whole, stuff, or boil and debone.

We found it much easier to cut up the chicken after removing the feathers. By splitting the breast in the middle and removing the guts that way.

while the chicken is cooking go look for the head..by the time u get back the chicken should be fully cooked

I have never cooked a chicken with the head on.

I generally bake or fry it. My husband generally stir fries it.

Remove the skin, put bbq sauce on it, then bake it in the oven.. You may also want to make a batter to brush on first with milk and cornflakes then add the BBQ its great!

i guess i dont understand your question fully...you can fry it ...or you can bake it like you would a turkey even stuff it with stovetop chicken if you want....you can deep fry the whole thing if you have a big enough deep fryer
