Russian text appears like jiberish!?

Question

A friend is sending me e-mails typed in russian, but they all apear like this " Çäðàâñòâóéòå..." how can i see then in their russian form? I use yahoo mail.

In Firefox, View -> Encoding; IE has similar menu selection; the name is Russian/Cyrillic (Windows-1251).

If the font for such text encoding is not available, the menu item still exist but I recall IE for one would lead you to language download site.
