so the other day i was showering and i dsicovered a nasty humongous pimple on my buttocks. i'm afraid to sit down because it hurts. plus, i don't want it to pop and scar.

It has to be drained. Do it yourself with a sterilized needle or pin. You can also make an appointment with your doctor & have him/her drain it. It could be an ingrown hair that is infected. I had one on the back of my thigh. It hurt like yours does & I couldn't reach mine. So I let the doctor drain it & remove the infected hair. He gave me a perscription for Levaquin since there was heat & a bit of redness around the area that looks like cellulitis. Better safe than sorry!

it's not always bad to pop pimples. just make sure it's filled with puss. then adjust a mirror to where you are able to see the culprit and take a warm wash cloth and pop the pimple with that. don't worry about scarring, it will be fine.

Put rubbing alcohol on it several times a day to dry it up. You're going to have to wait this one out. Or have your friend squeeze it for you. Oh the pus that would come from that thing!

It sounds like a boil and you need to pop it or go to the doctor to see what they suggest.

you are going to either have to pop it or have somebody else pop it for you. it could be a boil instead of a zit.
keep it clean and peroxide it a lot to keep it from getting infected.

the same thing as a face one put rubbing alchol on it to dry it out and remeber to exfoliate use on of thous big puffie things to get ride of died skin cells that will help pimples form coming back

Go to your local drug store and purchase a tube of Drawing Salve. It will solve your problem in a couple of days.
