Me and my husband are trying to conceive and i was wondering what are my chances of having twins. considering that my grandmother on my dads side had two sets of twins and my dad is one of those twins. and also there are twins in his family. what are my chances?

pretty good ask your doctor. twins tend to skip a generation or two though. identical twins have nothing to do with families. only faternal

If I am not mistaken twin births are from the fathers side. A family friend had twins and twins don't run in her side of the family but they do from her husbands side. Good Luck to you.

Their are no set amount of chances, it's random, like when having children, if a couple has had 5 boys the chance of them having a 6th boy is still 50/50.
