I have stage-size Yamaha speakers, Peavy Mixers XR-700, an
800 series and a Peavy CS-200 amp. Are these in use today and if so what are they worth? They are all in good condition, and work fine. A professional musician used them . I need to get rid of them but want to ask a fair price. No luck on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in the Dallas, TX area, and want to sell them here as I do not want to ship or haul around.

I have done the obvious - looking at want ads, classified ads and placing ads in places like Craiglist and Backpage _ with pictures. I am asked "HOW MUCH" for the cost. I do not have a truck to haul this equipment to pawn shops to get their value.
I have even tried to find a good musicians forum. Thanks for any help in the Dallas area.

Try asking the value at a pawn shop they seem to know the book value of just about everything.

Head over to http://www.craigslist.org and over to http://www.postaroo.com and place free ads telling folks what you have. Also, take a look under the wanted section to see if anyone is looking for your kind of equipment.
