pubic hairs are curly because they grow in so course..
and the reason we have them was to protect from bacteria.. well back in the day before underwear was around.. we technically dont need it anymore, but as humans it just grows when you hit puberty

.Down near the bottom of the pubes, the hair is stronger and thicker and can keep itself rigid, but near the top they are thin and flimsy and weak so are more prone to crushing and bending, add to that the underwear we use also forces it against the body the hair has nowhere else to go but around. As for its uses as far as I can think they are a sign of virility

If you would magnify a curly and a straight hair, you would see that the curly hair is flatter then the straight hair. So curly hair is flatter no matter where it's located on your body.
The purpose of pubic hair is to cushion against friction.

Goes back 2 evolution when man used to be covered in hair, for protection from bacteria & sun, notice that ur underarms are hairy too!

They get stuck in your throat and down your jap eye thats what they do. As for why they are there, it's so I get a stiffy when I see a bird with no clobber on and an even bigger one when they are shaving it. I love sex...I think its great

not sure why they are curly, but their purpose is to prevent foreign bodies (not aliens - just germs) from getting on your bits and bobs.....but my mother told me this, so it may not be true....
