show to them that you have enough responsibility to stay out later. by coming in on time. not missing curfew, maybe helping out with things more, different stuff like that. showing my parents that i was responsible allowed me to stay out till 12 at 16...so it might work but it might not.....

That is ok 10 is good for a 16 year old. I was 17 when I got to stay out until 11 or 11:30. it is up to the parents when they want to change it not the kids.

If you act responsible and get home on time every time you leave then they'll see that you can handle or deserve a later curfew. If all else fails sneak out!

you cant. you need to understand they know whats best for you. you dont. you are still a child and as a child you need rules and boundaries. as i said to someone else many states have curfews for those under 18. you get a ticket and a fine.as woule your parents plus you would be taken home. there is nothing you need to be doing out of your home after 10pm. there nothing but trouble. be glad they are protecting you many kids would love to have parents like that. when i was 16 i had to be home before dark and on a date by 10pm

You need to remember your 16, and you live in their house. Its their home and their rules. Be glad is not 8 or something like that, and your probably not going to be able to change their minds anyway. Your not 18 so you shouldnt be out at all hours of the night.

Make them trust you more, they have a reson to do what they are doing. Besides someone 16 has no reason except getting in trouble for being out after 10 anyway.

You need to show them that you can act like a grown up and not a child. They need to be able to trust you before they will let you stay out later.

You are 16, not an adult. As long as you live in their house...you follow their rules.
