whats the ****** difference between a boxed toggle switch and a Switchcraft style toggle switch and why does the boxed switch have a fourth connection,i tried to solder all the ground wires to that part but it still would sound ****** up

A Boxed Toggle Switch is a 3 way switch for the pick-ups.The Boxed Switch has 5 connections because for all the different pick-up settings and sounds it needs. A Switchcraft Style Toggle Switch is just a rounded switch instead of a boxed one.

the boxed switch has an extra tounge to use as a jumper wire to another switch or pickup
