This man paid someone to write a biography for him and this confession appears in the biography. I am looking for this man's name if anyone knows it.

Albert Speer in his memoir Inside the Third Reich, but I can't locate my copy of this book to give you chapter or page numbers.

What's equally interesting, however, is to trace the connections between earlier generations of the Bush dynasty and the rise of Hitler. See Kevin Phillips, American Dynasty and Webster G. Tarpley, The Unauthorized Biography, esp. Chapter2, "The Hitler Project." (And, by the way, Kevin Phillips made his reputation as a Reagan Republican, foreseeing and helping to implement what he called in another book, The Emerging Republican Majority.)

I think you may be referring to Albert Speer, Hitler's Minister of Armaments.

I made a quick search and found nothing on this. And I never heard of it. I will look further, but this may be one of the urban legends.
