Sometimes, people (even our parents!) overreact or misinterpret the littlest things. People say things that they don't mean, or don't realize they are being hurtful.

We have to forgive people we love sometimes, because, to er is human.

IMPORTANT: If his words continue though, or he becomes physically or sexually abusive, talk to a trusted adult - a friend's parent, a teacher, or a doctor.

Your dad is acting like a complete dick by talking to you that way. If he becomes abusive in absolutely any way or you become depressed, you have to talk to someone - it's crucial. Tell your dad all girls feel self-conscious at some stage during adolescence, and you wanted to improve your body image, shape and fitness/health levels by toning up with your aunt. It's not a bad thing... in fact I think it's awesome that you have the motivation to do it in the first place. Don't worry, OK? Tell your dad to stick it, and prove him wrong in everything, eg: Good grades, sweet boy, sensible mentality (ie you won't get pregnant), fit and healthy.... that'll show him =)

If you're dad said all of those things to you, then he's not a very nice dad. Sounds like he has some issues too and he needs to get the hell over it. I fail to see why they are mad?

You went because of the curve in your back? What does that have to do with being overweight anyway?

If you have a curve, then it's very possible you could have scoliosis. (if i'm interrpreting this question correctly)Sounds like your parents need to do a better job at being parents. You don't say things like that to your kids.

just ignore your dad some dads just say things because they no they can hurt you, trust me my dads the same iv bin in bad ways over the past few years and all my dad did was slag me of because I'm not like my sister, he believes shes perfect but no 1 is we have all got our own little things that make us who we are. But if your feeling this way try going to see your aunt on your own then see if you do get upset again but if not its maybe because your dads there, not if you do feel you are pregnant then i would go see your local doctor and talk to them about it and if you are then its up to but don't worry about what people are going to say, because your doctor can't say a word.So try and do what you think is best i hope this has helped you .

omg ur dad is an a$$hole, don't listen to him. No one has the right to speak to u that way. Next time you need help don't ask him and maybe he will realize that he was rude. You should also tell him that you were asking for help and not to be critized. Cheer up girl, you'll be ok!

Try to realize that the things your dad said were because he was mad or something, and out of control of himself, and not because of anything you did.
