Sudden vertigo is no fun...if you haven't been sick lately, it can be a problem with your electrolytes. Try some water with Sea salt, or if you really don't like it something like Gatorade. And yes, if it doesn't clear up very soon a doctors visit is in order. Keep yourself hydrated too...that is where the problem with electrolytes rears its ugly head. I am at windstarhealing.com if you have any questions.

An inner ear infection could cause that. You should see your doctor for a medication to clear it up - provided that's what it is. You probably don't need to go to the ER unless you're going to be doing something that could cause you to get hurt. I had a friend with an inner ear infection that she let go for a while. She finally fell right over and landed face first on a fan and cut her face open and had to be picked up by an ambulance. It would be wise to have this checked out before you let it get worse. Also, I don't think you would experience any of the symptoms with an inner ear infection that you would with fluid on your ears, so don't discount the inner ear theory I have going here. (-: Good luck!

You can,t stand up or function all on your left side? That sounds like a stroke, you need to get that checked out right now and not here on Yahoo answers.
