There are so many things, but seriously, when he walks in that door you need to just drop to the floor with him without even saying a word. If he's like me he's going to be so pent up that he'll need some sex really badly. Then anything after that will be icing on the cake. (And don't be surprised if he lasts like 5 minutes, he's been thinking about you all year...)

Truthfully, he'll just be excited to get home and see you. He probably wouldn't want a bunch of friends over immediently. Wait about a week or so and then have over some friends if he likes the idea. Hope this helps.

maybe you could get a bunch of people together to greet him when he gets off the airplane..or throw a big surprise welcome home party for him...like you pick him up at the airport and have you alls friends and family waiting at your house when you bring him home.
And by the way thank you to your husband for all he's doing for us here in the USA. God Bless you both and may he come home soon!

Just be there waiting for him. A party would be good, but not for a few days at least. I would want to spend some time with my gf/wife and rest for a while.

First of all, I want to say I appreciate the job your husband is doing for our country. When he comes home after a lenghly depolyment, you should have a "Welcome Home" party for him, with family and friends all around. You should make him feel like you are so happy to have him home because you REALLY ARE happy to have him home. Hey, it's just my opinion...it doesn't mean so much.

My guess is that he just wants to be home and he just wants to be with you...
That said, have a banner over the yard to welcome him home... I know his friends and family will want to be there so invite them over, but tell them there will be an early end of the party so he can get some rest.

Honey you won't be worried about that when he gets home all you will want to do is wrap your arms around him.
