Hi Joe!! :o) That depends. IF your claustrophobia is making it difficult for you to do things with your friends - then it might not hurt to let them know of your problem. This is especially true if you have been lying to them by creating excuses that aren't true. Besides - having the courage to be open and honest about who we really are and about what we really think and feel is what makes for a great friendship. Craig!! :o)

Possibly.. its up to you really. I have a friend who does, so I know when she's crowded she needs more room, so I can give it to her... would your friends be the ones to care and give you room or would they crowd you as a joke? It really depends how your friends are, I guess.
We were on a bus in Mexico and we got a flat tire so we ended up having to move to one side of the bus and she was really crowded and ended up crying and shaking and stuff... but since we knew why, we didn't crowd her more asking whats wrong, we gave her more space...

Ignore all the idiots on here.
If you think your friends will understand then go for it. Its nothing to be ashamed of. But on the other hand if you think they will take the mick, i`d keep it to yourself.
Any real friend would understand.
Good luck.

It depends what your friends are like. Mention it to them and see their reaction, like, I heard... X is gay. And see what they have to say about it. If they dont react too badly you should tell them. And make it clear that just because you are gay doesn't mean you are attracted to all men/women and that it wont change anything between you and them.
