because they are lame and have limited brain cells with which to use in a days time - they have to conserve all that they can! I on the other hand have SO many that I can ramble on and on and on and on!

I had hoped that was a question of a deeper subject.I sometimes leave short answers because of the nature of the question.Sometimes it`s hard to find a question worth answering.
There are times when I feel the question doesn`t even deserve capital letters.

Alright I'm not going to follow what everyone else is doing.

I think the reason some people answer with the short DUH answers because they aren't really wanting to take the time to try to help some one else out. I think some like to take the easy road and get the points.

Was this a better answer than having me say "duh I don't know".

Sorry, I was just trying to have some fun with this one.

Don't know ....j/k I hate that too i guess they are not smart enough to come up with an interesting answer...I also hate when you ask for a guy's response and a girl will say I'm female so I don't know...they like wasting your time I guess

They want to earn points, but don't really care to answer the question.

For simplicity. Some people don't like to read long answers. That and they're just trying to get points.
