Why? Because for many years now, we as a people, have been very foolish. We have thought more about short-term gains, easy profits, getting ahead of the other guy, instant gratification etc etc., rather than concerning ourselves with what's really important -- making sure that the next generation has a future, and re-discovering what it really means to be a human being.
