First you should apologize (if you did anything) and just be real with her. Let her know just how much you really love her by calling her everyday and leaving messages even when she doesn't answer. Good luck

That depends what did you do wrong? You had 16 years to work on keeping her and you couldn't get it done then, what makes you think there is a way to keep her now?

Stop the blame and the finger pointing and go back to what you did when you first met her, when you two were falling in love, and do it again. Woo her and prove to her that you love her. You need to connect to her again, emotionally.
