The truth is I took modern dance classes in college as a physical education course. But some of the best dances I learned from friends who had a way with a beat. I have a style you might call "copy cat". HAHAHAHA

It was a gradual process.
I did ice skating, and I had to take ballet classes with that. But I wasn't very conscious of it as dancing. I was 12 or something.
Then I learned how to do club dancing in my room, by myself, in front of the mirror.
Then, much later, I was bored one evening and I received an e-mail from a girl that I barely knew about a social dance coming up that evening, that would be preceded by a class, and, on top of that, it was free w/any student ID. So OK, I went, and i liked it, and I decided to do it again next week. Eventually, I wanted to know how to dance better and better. I became a competitive dancer of Ballroom and Latin and I enjoy it very much. I only could wish I started earlier.

The first time...it is so cute when I think of it. I stepped on my dad's feet and he held my tiny hands, and followed him as music went on...I like pair dances the best...and I am still sometimes stepping on my dancing partner's feet...but by mistake...but then I just say that the next party is on my toes!
