Yep. I have it. Sounds like PUPP. PUPP stands for pruritic urticarial papules and placques of pregnancy (itchy, skin bumps). It is an annoying but benign condition. It is the most common skin condition of pregnancy and is characterized by a typical rash. The rash usually develops on the abdomen near the umbilical area and spreads to the thighs and extremities. Sometimes itching can become very severe. It can spread to the rest of the body, but never involves the face. It is more common in first pregnancies and seldom recurs in subsequent pregnancies. This condition is usually familial and can be traced through the father's side.
Treatment involves cortisone creams, but occasionally nivea or vana cream works. You may need to be treated with oral steroids if the itching becomes intense. The lesions usually go away after giving birth. Your baby is not affected.

Very normal...you are probably carrying the baby in your back. I did with my first and didn't show until I was 6 months. I was also a size 1, which freaked me out because I though I would be showing before anyone. I'm 9 weeks with my second and the same is going on. I went to the dr. yesterday and they tried to check the heartbeat. I was for sure they would find it because my hip bones stick out lol Good Luck! You'll be able to feel your bump at around 16 weeks really well.

YES YES YES...I've had 3 kids, its normal, and can be very itchy!!! your body is soo sensitive to even little things like detergent or new maternity clothes. just don't scratch too hard, because the skin will leave stretch marks or dark scratches.

My Wife didn't actually experience it in pregnancy but I believe it has something to do with a blood disorder - check with Midwife or Doctor!

It has something to do with the placenta. It will go away after you give birth and the placenta is completely out of your uterus. Try calming oatmeal lotions. Good luck.
