Ok, come on people. We are allowed to keep anything we find, the dorm office doesn't want to deal with anything. And trust me, others have found some neat stuff. We are TOLD to keep what we want.

How awful that you don't turn these items in to the dean of students for the halls you work in. Some poor soul is probably heart broken over losing something that has sentimental value to them, even if it doesn't line your greedy and unethical pockets! Shame on you! Diamonds will scratch glass. Glass is made from sand, sand from rocks. Why don't you try rubbing the jewlery against that stony heart of yours?

maybe they should not make it to your home. people do loose things that are valuable to them. why not turn the items in to the office or perhaps if there is a lost and found dept. wait 30 days, if no one claims them, then ask if you can have them.

it shouldnt matter what its made of! if those where yours and you lost them youd want someone to return them to you! so, take them to the office of the dorm or lost and found and tell them you found them in whatever room. ask them if no one claims them after a month can you keep them.....

What does it matter? None of that belongs to you. Turn it in to the college lost and found.
