picking on someone different everyday..yesterday it was me, today Lady_Starlight and touzours who is going to be tomorrow?
Despite the differences that I may have with the French people and their supporters everyone has the right to express their opinion!
Can we not act like adults and talk about soccer/football?
YOU PEOPLE ARE DESTROYING THE TRUE MEANING OF SOCCER/FOOTBALL!

Yeah, now they're having a mighty high time calling me a racist, while they are the ones who keep posting questions and answers intended only to provoke and insult.

I agree with you. It was kinda fun for a while to get after some people that had big mouths, but its gotten boring after a couple of days.
The game is over.... who cares anymore....
If me and Touzours can now get along, there is no excuse for anyone to be a jerk. We all love the game. Be happy it stayed in Europe. The French did us Italians a favour beating Brazil or it may have been a repeat of 1994 WC. Who knows.

Hello Juventina,
Yes there does seem to be a new scapegoat to target everyday. You know though, part of the problem is that the WC is over and the legitimate Questions have almost run dry. So while waiting for, the Leagues and Friendlies to begin, there is not much to do or talk about. So Questions or issues that have received strong feedback, or exposed others weaknesses, for want of a better word, are being revisited and now exploited. It has all become very personal, too personal. The thing is I don't see a way to stop it other than taking care to mind our own behaviour and in turn doing our little part not to encourage it further. Take care.

I totally agree with you. I'm fine when people express their own true opinions, but some have really gone beyond that and went on to insult and offend others. In my opinion, it's mostly the people who don't answer, just keep on creating accounts and asking questions who are causing all of these heated arguments that are irrelevant to the actual topic of football/soccer.
However, one point: not all of us are adults, adults aren't the only mature ones, and not all adults are mature. =D

I agree. You and Lady Starlight are certainly well informed and know what you are talking about however Touzours just seems to rant and rave 99% of the time so I can understand why people pick on him. His constant put downs of Italy and Materrazi are becoming tiresome now.

I'm really getting sick of it too!!!! The language and taunts used by certain people in this forum has been downright offensive. I knew when I came into this forum there'd be some difference of opinion... but using names like Nazi (sorry to hear that Lady_Starlight is being attacked with such offensive words) is uncalled for...

Juventina, I think we can actually call this a respite. Believe you me, I am quite afraid of what's coming after the September 6th game. There's going to be a blow out in here!!!

I agree with you Juventina. But I will continue to lean on those who abuse their right to express themselves in ways that insult others. I am an American who is trying to learn about the game and when i come to this category I see mostly people hurling insults and profanity. I wish they could actually contribute something to the real topic of soccer.
