It's late summer. Your rabbit is just molting. I was just at a 4-H meeting this morning. There's one rabbit there which gets a different pattern on its face every time it molts. It used to have a darker V shape on its forehead, now it has two darker lines right below its eyes. Some just change color.
Mine, Clover, gets lighter in the summer and darker in the winter, as do most.
Also, when rabbit fur molts, sometimes it loosens and discolors. Try brushing it, if chunks of fur fall off, that's probably your problem. And make sure you keep brushing it if that does happen. They can get hairballs which can cause intestinal blockages, especially when they shed enough for that to happen.
Also, rabbit fur can fade if they're left in the sun. My friend's black rabbit is getting on in years and when she gets left in direct sunlight for a few days, she turns dark brown.
No matter what, there's really nothing to worry about. Just make sure you use a nice wire slicker brush and brush it once a day or so, and that should help.

Is it gray hair?Sorry, I couldn't resist. Maybe he is getting older. My cat was light colored when he was a kitten and then got darker and then turned lighter again as he got older.
