okay this is TRUE i swear to god. so im 18 years old, i have a baby boy. and i have been seeing this guy. and im absolutely in love with him. we've never met eachothers parents tho. so one day we decide to get the parents together.. well guess what? turns out werre 3rd cousins. it seems weird at first, but its not like we've grown up together knowing this. and it doesnt even feel any different. and im continuing the relationship. but as an outsider, do you guys look at this is sick??? hes soo good to my son and everyone loves himmmm its not fair

Third cousins are pretty much distantly related. I went to school and some of my classmates were second and third cousins, and I didn't know about it until we were doing family trees in Grade 7. It might feel a little weird, but it's not really a big deal, and the only people who would object to your relationship on these grounds are the same one that believe that your children would have nine heads. :-)

Third cousin is legal by social standards and acceptable in most personal standards. I don't think it's too weird. Be happy :)

Third cousins are distantly related. What isn't fair? You can marry a third cousin.

A third cousin means that you both have the same gr-grandparents. No, I don't see this as sick and it's certainly not illegal in any way. Don't worry about it. :)
