I have both animals and LOVE both of them very much and very different reasons. My dog loves me and protects me. My horse gives me hours of enjoyment and is a joy to have to share with others. I couldn't choose between them!

i have the best of both worlds,i have a horse that acts like a dog,he gives my face,hands and arms slobbery wet kisses,he follows me around everywhere,comes when his name is called,and he is very protective of me,he puts up a fuss whenever someone drives into the driveway and if he is being naughty i just have to say no loudly and he will hang his head,tuck his tail and sometimes go lay down.....i think he is species confused.. maybe because i have 8 dogs

A dog because they can protect you, are cheaper and are cute. I love horses too but they're alot of money to buy one and to care for It and It also need alot of space to roam.

i would have to say horse cause i have always wanted one you have more possibilities with them like riding them and stuff but theres also good things with dogs as well it welcomes you home protects you and is supposed to be mans best friend

Neither one is better. Each one is wonderful in its own way. Trying to rank animals as to how much "better" one is than the other is silly and childish.

dogs are cheeper and you need less area. less money to feed and take care of.
