I'm not sure I understand your question, its phrasing is a little odd.
I think... if you believe yourself to be a lesbian, and you identify as such: that makes you a card-carrying lesbo.
You know, like... if you want to be into Harleys, you go buy one, get the chaps, hang out at Sturgis, talk motorcycles with like-minded people, that makes you a biker. But... it's not really anyone's business if you drive a Honda once in awhile, Hondas are practical and get better gas mileage, deep in your heart, you identify as a biker, and that's who you are.
I'm not really sure what you're alluding to as far as drama and rejection and 10 years ago and younger Yahoo users.
I've been a homo for half my life now, and people of all walks of life, color and creed are annoying, not just gays and lesbians. Walk the path of the warrior, be awake open and honest, you need not take crap from anyone who tries to tell you who you are.
As for being daft and proactive... aren't they one and the same, on occasion?

What validates you as a lesbian?
#1Ownership of a boiler suit and Doc Martins
#2 Having sex with women (suppose that makes me a lesbian too)
#3 Talking loudly about how men are useless
#4 Buying a double ended dildo with a completely straight face
#5 Having explicit knowledge about up to the minute 'feminine' products and discussing them loudly in shopping centres
#6 Taking part in gay pride events.
Manage all these and You'll be a validated lesbian my son!

we live and we usually learn. you can only be yourself at the end of the day. lgbtqs are usually emotionally stronger than str8s because of the way we have to deal with rejection and prejudice.
u dont have to be validated as a genuine lesbian, its not supposed to be worn as a medal, despite our bravery. and if you want to be daft, well, maybe youre just having fun as much as being daft. not sure what you mean by being pro active though.
i must admit, i sometimes wish i was str8 because its easier than being gay in many respects, i felt like that this week infact...but no, i like women, end of story.
could you perhaps be bi chuk? i wont regard u in any different a light if you tell us youre bi or str8 uno, u'll still be lisa.

What do you mean 'genuine' is there an exam or a certificate - surely its in the heart and in your body feelings? Be as daft and as pro active as you like you are still the same person inside.

Having the same affections and feelings for another woman that you would have for men. Enjoying the feeling of other women and having sex or thinking about sex with other gals(masterbating while thinking of them, etc...), that pretty much "validates" you as a lesbian. Im thinking though, if you have to ask, then you are kinda unsure, but may be "curious".

What ever validates you as a Genuine Lesbian validates me as a Genuine Bisexual. The ability to love another, for you like you, for me like either of us.
By the way, I agree with an earlier post of yours. Let's change the words:
Homoamorous
Biamorous
Heteroamorous
Transamorous
Polyamorous
Sex is an expresion of Love, but it is not Love by itself.

A true lesbian is a woman who wants emotional, physical, spiritual, and sexual relationships with women ONLY. She may have dated men in the past before realizing she was a lesbian, but in the end, she only wants women and women only.

I think that only you can answer that, if you mean "Are you lesbian". For validation, if it is important, I can only say be yourself, stand up for what you believe and know that there are those who will support you. I loved and was loved and that is all I need in my time of crisis and recovery.
Blessings and courage, Rose P.

"morally wrong to be daft"
??? Dictionary time. foolish Insane --- NO --- you are the judge!
Do you have male friends? Yes? your Bi!
If men disgust you and you reject their touch? been abused? maybe?
I find nothing wrong with Lez. It is mostly oral or manual but mainly totally private
If you are of age, find what is fun for you. Intimate sex is not sin.
Girls are more intimate with girls. But do not exclude your male friends.
I'm 66, you can not surprise me and I am very private.

To be a legitimate lesbian (or gay man), you MUST vote Democrat.
