It's half full when we stress the positive things... we're happy we have all this and don't concentrate on what we don't have.

It's half empty when we stress over things we don't have.

Hmm. I would have to say (logically) that glass is half full. (Even though subconciously the glass is half empty, because I am a bit of a pessimist.)
Logically the glass is half full in human terms because most of the time, when humans are measuring things, we look from bottom up. And I am not saying that it is wrong to measure things from top down, because you get the same result, I am just saying its more common, and its taught, that you should measure things from the bottom-up.

Good question. made me think.

Cubs fans see it as, how long till the glass tips over?

The glass is actually completely full, half water, half air.

this only works if they've never heard it before. i say its completely full. cause its a glass of water. u never said its half way. or it can be one drop of water in there and still be considered a glass of water.

I think it is half and half. It can be half empty, half full or both.
