Is Jerusalem the lowest point in dead sea basin?

i read that Jerusalem is the lowest point in dad sea area so i want to be assured from this information

Jerusalem is not at the Dead Sea but about a 40 minutes drive from there. Jerusalem is about 650-840 metres (about 2000-2500 feet) ABOVE the sea level. The Dead Sea 418 meters (1,371 ft) BELOW sea level.

Actually the dead sea is the lowest point on the plante earth!!!
