I can't send a music file!?

This is the message I get when my friend send me a wpl file over yahoo messenger:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available.

Have you ever sent music before; did it work ?
Wpl mmmmmmmm never heard of it. Try sending a MP3 file and see if it works. Maybe the Wpl file has been downloaded and something wont allow it to be shared. Can you convert it to MP3.
Maybe you need to adjust the file extension setting in your player or your friends player to accept it to play.
i would think the file is programed not to be shared !
