Man if I had to pay for every one of my Karma debts there wouldn't be anything left of me. Let it go, it all works out in the end. If you really feel bad do some nice for a stranger, that should rebalance the eternal scales for you. It's okay to make a mistake once in a while, were humans after all; that's what we seem to do best!

Hi Deeno! Don't beat yourself up too much about it, buddy. We all do things we regret and it's not like you meant to do anything to hurt anyone. You're human and we all make mistakes. It's part of life.

Your boss should have made sure that you were made aware of the correct procedure to do the job you were hired for, so he is partially at fault.

Your best bet is to sincerely apologize for your error to your boss (and the lady, if possible, a note might be nice) and offer to pay half the cost of the shirt, since your boss is partially responsible for your lack of on the job training.

Don't waste another minute of your life regretting something that you did without malice. You are not a bad person. You are not stupid. You didn't mean to do anything hurtful. It was simply human error. Apologize, do what you can to fix it and move on.

Hopefully your boss is mature enough to do the same.

You might look at the situtation this way. Most companies that have employees working with chemicals have very descriptive instructions for its use. If you were not instructed or not had the receipe for use then you can not be held accountable for the mistake. You might also look at it in a different manner. There are many budgets used in business and I am sure they can figure a way of paying for the ruined shirt and not giving you so much grief over it. A lesson learned that you will not forget.

Quit the shitty fast food job, or gas station, or where ever you have to clean bathrooms. Who cares if some stupid lady got her $12 shirt ruined by bleach. I would have told her to go buy another one, its not like that is her only shirt. Do yourself a favor and the next time your boss gives you a dirty look grab him by the rim of his mcdonalds hat and tell him to F*uck Off and leave. Don't be opressed by those who make you think that their company is your only opportunity to move up in life, you can get a new job anywhere. Good Luck man!!!

Tell the boss that you are sorry that happened and at least offer to help pay for the shirt that got damaged. That's what I would do. Good luck!!!

Awe man, reading that just made me feel sorry 4 u however, its a minor little mistake... we are all just human so mistakes are inevitable. Don't let it drag you down for one more second, lift up your chin, smile and carry on with life knowing that there are people out there who have made far worse accidents, like me! SMILE!

Cleaning restrooms is lousy job no one wants to do,
If your boss didn't train you properly to do it,then this incident is your bosses fault,DO NOT OFFER TO PAY YOUR MONEY!!!
People at the bottom of the ladder should not have to suffer any more than they do.
Now that you know what to do,do it right from now on.
