A guy I've been seeing for over 3 years and love and care about and thought he felt the same, asked me to be with his friend and him. Someone I don't know. I refused out of respect for myself. (This came out of no where.) He told me he'd find another female to do it then. That it was easy. But he asked me first because he cared about me and had feelings for me. He said it was my choice, me or another woman.That he was being honest. I said I can't. I don't want to. You always said not to do something you didn't feel comfortable doing. If you do this you lose me. You'd want me to do this act toward your friend more than keeping me in your life? His response: Are you down or not? I said no. Then he said those are the other females on the other line, I'll talk to you whenever and hung up. I thought he was just drunk and would let it go, no. I feel like everthing was a lie and I meant nothing to him, he didn't care, that he gave me up just because I wouldn't do a sexual act on his friend.

He was just trying to pressure you into having sex that way. You took the hard right, instead of the easy wrong, and now you see what he is really like. Don't go back with him he will try something like that again - as he has shown he has no respect for you. Now just move on - and I am proud of you. Good luck.

Your last two sentences say it all. Now that you realize what he's about and that kind of menage du tois is not for you, you should find a man who you get to know better before committing to a full relationship and develop strong feelings. Find something who has the same things in common who you enjoy at all levels. Don't rush. Heal first, give yourself time and date until you think you've found that person, get to know him and then go forth. He must want what you want and have the same values.

I'm sorry. I think what you say you feel at the end of your paragraph is right. Try to forget him, and move on. There are some good guys out there - I got one, after a couple of losers.

He is a jerk. I don't care how long you have been seeing this guy, he shouldn't threaten you with something like that when he knows you are not into it. Get rid of him -- move on.
