I haven't tried cleaning Vans slip-ons before, but I'm an expert at cleaning flip flops so they look like I bought them yesterday. Take a nail brush and some laundry detergent. Get your shoes wet in the sink with water, pour some laundry detergent onto them, and scrub like there's no tomorrow! Afterwards, throw them into the washer (yes, they're washing machine safe if they're cloth or canvas material) and let them go through a cycle. After they're done in the washer, lay them outside in the sun to dry. Don't throw them in the dryer or the rubber will become mushy. Hope I could help!

put them in a pillow case and throw them in the wash....i know sounds alittle crazy but DONT put in bleach!!! or anything with bleach in it, that will turn the white part yellow for sure.....once they come out of the wash they'll be good as new!
