BestBuy, Circuit City & OfficeDepot or any Big electronics store near you sell kits that include paper (& sometimes inks) etc for certain inkjet printers.
Buy one kit to learn the process, then get the supplies elsewhere. You can get the transfer paper in Art & Craft Stores.

I posted this same question a couple weeks ago. You buy transfer paper that is designed for inkjet printer. Look for t-shirt transfer paper. That will do it.

You need to buy special paper (a t-shirt kit). Any printer will work, but color printers are probably most fun.

all you need is transfer paper. you can get this at craft stores like jo ann's and michael's. then make sure when you print it out the image is backwards, b/c after you print it out you iron it on the tee shirt. :) hope this helps. um. air dry the shirt b/c if you put it in the dryer it will crinkle up.

It takes a special type of paper. I can't think of the name of it. But I know you can use it in a typical ink-jet. Once the ink is dry, you apply it to a blank T-Shirt while using a hot iron.

'Ink jet T-shirt transfer paper'
You can buy it, but it's expensive, ($10 for three pieces, but you can print a number of things on each sheet)
You just print and iron it on. Hand wash only, though.
