what are the advantages and disadvantages of each? and what is the better choice?

get an iPod if you wanna listen to music. get a phone if you want a phone. I think combining the two will never be perfect.

Well, if you're going for a phone, get the Razr. I was looking at Cingular's iTunes-enabled phones a week or two ago and the representative I spoke with informed me that a new Razr will be coming out soon with iTunes. However, I recommend the phone in addition to the iPod. I currently have an iPod but plan on getting a Razr so that I have additional storage for music.

ipod, it's more popular, thus better service and easier to find. It also has the nice abillity of tons of online resources pertaining to it, if you ever need them.

Neither... Cassette Tapes!!!!!!!! Just kidding... I don't know, I don't have either. All I have are cd's.
