Depends on what you're wanting-- Muscle? Fat (padding)?

A rule of thumb (for adult women)...
100 pounds for the first 5 feet of height
5 pounds for each additional inch of height
I like to say "plus or minus 10 pounds for water retention, meals, bone structure, etc."
I'm 5'3", so that's 100+(3x5).... 115 pounds, although I sit around 125, pretty consistently.

If you want more muscle- work out, make sure you're getting the nutrition needed for fuel!

If you want more fat (padding and curves)- increase the % of your diet that is in carbs- Carbs = energy. Maintain your current activity level or reduce it. This is how Sumo wrestlers pack on the pounds- eat a big carb-a-licious meal then take a nap. The energy in the carbohydrates is then converted to fat, instead of being burned and used.

Best of luck!

Eat more often and larger portions. I weighed 160 lbs and I was 6'2". I started eating moe often and lifting weights. I gained 40 lbs, in about a year. Eat food with large amounts of carbs, pasta, bread, cereals. Carbs offer a ton of help when trying to gain weight.

Go on welfare, sit around watching Jerry Springer, and eat Munchkins. Works for Laquisha.
