Pat Benetar and the group Heart. You can't go wrong with just about anything from them!
I don't know of any rodeo songs, but Pat Benetar did a song called "Painted Desert" and another one called "The Outlaw"
Oh yes, and Kate Bush! What a voice! She has some amazing vocal range!

Beyonce Knowles. She has a ton of great songs, Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, Baby Boy. She is an awesome singer and performer. I don't know any rodeo songs though.

My favourite female artist is Tristan Prettyman. She sings Smoke, Breathe, Love Love Love. She is like a female version of Jason Mraz.

I enjoy:
The Like, and Joss Stone, (the like is a band, joss stone is solo.) Both mostimporantly write and play thier own music and have sort of a deep, soul sound, yet remaining with rock tones.
