Detroit, Michigan.
It was 20 below zero Fahrenheit.
I know that's not terribly cold in an absolute sense, but I landed after taking off from Tampa, Florida (where I was born) and the temperature at the airport in Tampa had been 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
I had never experience even freezing weather (32 degrees Fahrenheit) before. The differential of 90 degrees in a little over four hours was so shocking I fell to my knees.

It's a toss up between this stretch of land between the North West Territories and Alberta's North lands in Canada in the winter. I think it was minus 63 degrees C. I don't know the exact tempature but I was for a time in my first wife's heart and it may have been a tich colder than that. It looses all perspective after a certain point in both cases.

Canada. Where I live 2 years ago we had a period of a week in the winter where every day was -40C (-40F) or below. I missed a flight as the plane would not start because the engine had siezed from the cold.

I used to live in Mamers, NW France. One day in the winter it was -2 in the daytime and -8 at night. The day was lovely and clear, just blooming cold. I used to live opposite an aquadrome and the water in the lakes froze solid. Local children had curling contests with thick blocks of ice.

My very own Zagreb. It can get quite rough during some winter days, up to -15 C. And if there's also a very cold wind, it's better to stay indoors (sometimes even for days).
