Try giving yourself rewards for doing things right. Like if you get a good grade on a test, treat yourself to a sleepover with friends. You get the idea. =D

It is tough to get started with self discipline, but just the fact that you want it means you are more than halfway there. You can set a timer and make yourself do what needs doing for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you can quit if you want to, but you will probably keep going, it is getting started that is the hardest part. Also, keep in mind that discipline is like a muscle. The more you use it the stronger it gets. I think you will love it once you get it because you will feel better physically and emotionally. If the effects of self discipline were sold in a bottle, people would line up for miles to buy it! Good luck! You CAN do it!

Why would you ask a question and then tell others you want a certain answer rather than the ones they will offer? Sounds to me like you want an easy answer which will allow you to get a result without having to exercise self-discipline. You have received several good answers. Why not take that information and apply it? Try setting goals and objectives which have pay-value, from your perspective? Seeing the value and reward for achievement is the best and simplest way to develop constructive motivation. However, it takes tenacity, conviction, and desire.

Well apparently you already know that you procrastinate , you've just admitted it. I don't think you really need any adjustment except for just buckling down and getting your homework done and doing your studying like you know you should. I think your looking for some miracle answer and you already know what it is -just do your homework and you'll be fine. You know what's right and wrong - your just looking for a miracle and there's not one out there my dear - just be a good girl or boy (who ever you are) and buckle down and do the right thing.

For Self discipline; you must meditate 20 minutes every morning, excercise in everything you do ( do alot of cleaning, walk stairs instead of elevator, have any excuse to run when you can, eg when walking the dog, going to work) Procrastination will sort itself out when your heart rate is up from excercise and steady from meditation. A good way to learn a new language is listen to the language radio station and hang out with that language speakers.

Simple...
Act and don't stall. You know already what to do; you know already when something is due; and you know already when to perform a certain activity. Alternatively, identify what your priorities are then set a certain time to complete them. If possible, set an earlier time of completion than your actual projection then start immediately.

You could try spanking yourself, God that would be funny to watch! Better though to make up a time schedule that is tailored to your lifestyle. Then you've something to work with and build upon. The spanking thing would be really funny though!

just make up your mind not to be lazy , everything is achieved by hard work , if you don't wanna achieve anything then don't do the work
