Are you asking about the type of job or the financial quality? If you are looking for low stress and minimal effort, many are available, but lack the best course for financial independence in our economy. If you are looking for a good paying job without extended education or technical training, you can find those too, but the physical demand and appeal of those jobs are going to affect the financial reward. The harder and more dangerous it is or lacking in appeal( cleaning up violent crime scenes for example) the more you will earn.

What is a decent job to you? Ever thought about this...
Whatever college it may be, if you add book fees, tuition fees, dorm and utilities fees and anything else you will be spending money on for 4 years, think of how much that well cost over all.
Compare that with the question "having a job working 6 hours a day, 5 times a week, $8.50 an hour, making near $1,000.00 a month" for 4 years. If you do get a raise and if you do move up in ranks, would you want this way of life or go to college and find a job after 4 years constently going to interviews after interviews to find something that may pay twice as much.
........... so to answer your question, it is possible to. Just depends on what you want to do with your life. If you have a dream of 'wanting to leave something in this world with your name written all over it, would you be willing to go to college to study in making your dream into reality.

Depends on how decent you want it to be, what your future goals are. Would you rather be working a job that you may not really like without a college degree? Or go to college in something you enjoy, work hard for it, and then make possibly a great deal of money and feel achieved?
I was 16 when I had my child, I am through my first year of college doing something that I have a talent in, and I didn't want to become a statistical teenage mother who is on welfare. I worked really hard to get where I am now, and I never planned on working in a factory or in something I couldn't be accredited for. I am making a good life for my son.

A college degree will help you find a job more easily. Keep in mind it is not essential to have a degree to get and keep a good job. Lots of non-college grads have done well. In some cases, they have started their own businesses and employed college grads.
If you are college material and can afford it, go for it. If not, it is not the end of the world. You can succeed nicely still.

you might be able to right now. but statistically, the majority of "real" earners in this country have at least a college degree. people who more advanced education make more money in the long run. with that being said, don't feel like you should be forced to go to college just to get a job. if you're going to go to college, make sure you're going because you feel like it is going to have an enriching effect on you. society puts too much pressure on people to do things they don't want to do just to get a buck.

Yes you can. I would not advise it however. Ross Parrot did not go to collage nor did the founder of Wendy's burger chain. I must say collage is not for everyone. If you are going into a trade than your time would be best used learning that trade. However be sure you pick the trade you want. And know for sure it is the correct choice.
