Because when you're in the parks, you're what's known as a "captive audience". They can charge more simply because the demand is there, even at higher prices, because supply alternatives are low.

Consider taking an economics class or reading Money magazine regularly to help you maintain control of your budget in situations where you don't have the usual number of choices. It's a lifelong learning process, and well worth picking up as a hobby.

Because... even with their high prices... they are loosing a lots of money... their parks are extremely unprofitable!

At least, it's their data in the annual report of Disney! They are loosing shareholders... and the debts... is starting to become bigger than the revenues!!!

It's not a paradise like it appears to be!

At least... is my point of view after reading the report!

because they know that if people are idiotic enough to pay the price to get in, then they are idiotic enough to pay just about any price, for any thing. personally, i have no desire to go to disney, as it is just too much of everything.
