We should not sink to their level mate.
I do find it tiresome how people move this to this country, live in their "ghettos" and retain firmly their culture whilst rejecting our culture and customs, and creating negative stereotypes of our customs and women. It is a form of racism in my opinion.
I think this increases the ability of the BNP and people who hold similar views agitating anti-immigration beliefs - because their is an ignorance on both sides being perpetuated.
For those who move to this country and "mix" their culture, I have the greatest respect, as when I have lived in another country I respected that country's customs, as should be the case.
What scares me is that there are pockets of communities (minority ethnic groups and white groups) developing in this country where wrong views are growing stronger due to people holding on strongly to a fixed way of living. This will give rise to more tensions and racist views that can only lead to extreme ideas and actions.
What has always made the British a great people is it sense of fairness and welcoming of all peoples - but if this fairness is seen to be abused then a large majority will lose sympathy.
Unless community leaders across all faiths and colours take the lead in trying to increase wider participation, I fear for British society - in its full sense.

You would need to understand a few things. Racists and bigots are criminals under the law. Next time you see a person who has been a victim of crime, tell them they should have some profound respect for the criminal classes and their being a victim is just an occupational hazard.

Define " Racist " and "Bigot" please.... its down to what YOU want to hear isn't it..? .. if you don't like the answer its easy to put people in a box and call them a name rather than open up a conversation with them...Why is that..? why are people so quick to jump on the "Racists" band waggon .?.. Because thay have no opinion to answer too ?.. or is it thay like to hide behind a cover of there own 2 faced rant.?
A Question for thought .... if you can.

Interesting question. Actually, I think most people are a little bit racist, even if they aren't open about it. Even people who say that they are all for tolerance, love to be intolerant toward those who they think are intolerant. They feel that they have an excuse to look down on racists, just because racists look down on other people. These people don't realise that they are still being completely closed-minded toward a select group of people because of their beliefs.
So, if anyone wants to truly not be racist, they shouldn't discriminate against racists.

first off racist is not a race.
However i live by the words "I may not agree with what you say, but i will fight to the death your right to say it."
The country we live in has the freedom of speach (as long as your not stupid enough to use it). and i support this, no matter what people want to say, they should have the right to, as long as it doesnt lead to riots or bombs or anything that could end anothers life or take away their freedom, and civil liberties.
That said if I ever come across a man saying raceist/biggoted remaks to another man (aimed at them not just to them) I will step in because raceists really boil my blood!!

I respect the right of everyone to hold wrong opinions. I also respect my right to call them vicious names when I disagree with them.
