It could make it worse. The alcohol will dry your face causing you skin to produce more oil which leads to more acne. Your best bet is to use a face wash that has benzoilperoxide or salicylic acid (please forgive the spelling) then follow with a moisturizer.

doesn't remove but can dry up the acne, don't over use , if you have sensitive skin, it may irritate your skin.... Good luck
