We have Belkins 56 and our internet connection is upstairs, our computer is downstairs in the kitchen. Thank you.

That should be boost the internet signal. It varies from low to very low. Computer is downstairs in the kitchen.

i'm not too familiar with this model, but you could either probably change the channel of the wireless, or you could use the pringles can antenna that you can either make yourself or purchase.

if you didn't know, the pringles can antenna is an antenna that can be self-built and get wireless signals from a very far range. all you have to do is to aime the can towards the source of the wireless. for more info, check out the website below

If your wireless belkins56 is going through concrete or other type of barriers, the reception will be limited. You can either move the wireless belkins56 to another location in the house or get a router booster hoping it will expand the range in your house. Good luck.

If you have a Intel 2200B/G card, you can have problems running it on 54mbps (G).
Try setting the mode to only B, and running it.

The pringles can antenna is good, too.
