As long as you are not using a Mac, there is a great "suggested" category section rather than choosing a category. If you put a few key words that describe your product, ebay will suggest where other people who used the same words have listed their product. This happens right when you are tyring to find the category

Just put in a few descriptions of the item and click away, it normally finds a catorgory for you, so you have the choice of whether you want to sell it in that or not!

do a search for what u are selling & see what catagory are they in. Use that one.
