Do you have the child safety locks on the rear doors? That'll lock up the windows too.

Do they make any kind of sound at all when you try to activate them?
Is there any movement at all when you try to activate them?
Was there any strange noise the last time you used them?
It is very unlikely that two motors went bad at the same time. There must be something common to both rear windows like a circuit breaker or fuse. Possibly a wire that supplies the voltage to them.
Sounds like you should have them checked at a garage or dealer.

The child safety lock could have been turned on accidentally..This is on the inside of the back door or on your control panel for the windows

If they only work from the front, then somebody activated the child safety switch which prevents backseat passengers from operating the windows.
Otherwise, I would go with fuse.

Could be frayed/shorted wires, dead motor, or even (as suggested above) a fuse. Electrical problems have to be tracked down systematically.
