Just wondering because I've been feeling increasingly weak lately and I'm wondering if having diabetes might have something to do with it. Wondering what week they usually test for it.

They typically test for it by giving you the One-hour glucose test between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy. They did mine at 26 weeks, I also had to do the 3-hour glucose test and I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. However, I'm on a special diet and I'm testing my blood sugar and everything has been going very well.

If you're feeling weak now, it might be a good idea to tell your doctor, the sooner the better. Good luck!

I just got tested for it and I was 20 weeks, give or take a week or too. Feeling weak and fatigued may not have anything to do with diabetes and you just might be tired. Remeber you're body is creating life (this is no easy task)But talk to your obgyn let them know you're symptoms and they can let you know the best course to take.

Around 20 weeks. Talk to your doctor about the weakness. It could be a multitude of other things.

I was tested for it at 29 weeks and then it takes a week for your results to come back. It just depends on whish docter your going to and how they do their stuff

I just had mine done. They told me that it had to be done between 20 and 24 weeks. But you should talk to your Dr. before if it's bothering you. Good Luck.

I think it is about the 20th week. You may have an iron defisiency though. You can make an appointment with your Dr. sooner.

Mine was 5 weeks ago (27 weeks). It could be anemia (lack of iron). Make sure you make a doctors appt. and continue taking your prenatal vitamins.
