Names for your allegedly cute green tree frog:

—Coquí (pronounced "koh-kee"; the actual name of the tiny Puerto Rican tree frog; use this name just in case you want to give the little green turd an exotic name)
—Frogger (from the popular arcade game from way-back-when)
—Stumpy (from the tree stump from where you found this pet)
—Verde (pronounced "ver-deh"; Spanish for "green"; again, if you wanted to give your little green turd of a pet an exotic name)
—Rice Junior (named after Rice, my own pet tree frog from my childhood that died way before its time; honor my dead pet tree frog, DAMN IT!)

I always thought that if I had a frog I would name him Kermie, he's cute green and a frog of course. I know it's not too creative, my creativity hat is in the washer...lol. Best wishes

If he jumps high name him David or Skywalker after David Thompson. Or Cam-o-ron or just Cam or Camo for short.
