i need to remove the silver trim on the inside of a freelander it is attached to the door pull.any idea ?

It will either clip on or theres a hidden screw behind a trim plug, I find that a jewellers screwdriver is great for removing trim like that without damaging it. the best thing you can buy or borrow is a Haynes Manual, they're excellent for working out how the car is assembled, don't pay any attention to the text though, thats generally useless!

try taking door trim off first the it will answer its self from there,if that dont work i reccomend a big hammer
